Reston zoo with chelle

We had a quiet weekend. Mummy went out of town on Saturday. We had a fun day with Nana. We went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. Then we went to the Foxwoods park and played on the swings and slides. We came home and called Sritha Akka over. She fed me while Nana fed chelle. Then, we 3 went to Purcelville to get a back trail. Chelle and I can ride on the bike with Nana now. How cool is that. 

And Sunday was vinayaka chavithi. We went to the Reston zoo in the afternoon and prayed and sang in the evening. 

Busy stay cation. Lots of guests in 2 days

We had some guests from New Jersey on Friday for the long weekend. 2 little twin boys. We did not get along much. 

Then, we went to the farm to watch horses. Saturday, Advika and Mayuka came from Richmond. We played and I enjoyed Advikas company. 

We went to see a dog show on Monday. 

New words I learnt:

Idhi anta ledhu - when something doesn't work, doesn't come up. Same word for everything. 

My summer camp ended and school started. All new friends except Robert. Ms.Beech is back. I gave her a big hug on my first day. 

I went to a princess party!!

I went to Reva and Mishika's birthday party last weekend. It was a princess theme party and there was a magician, face painter, hair do and a real princess. 

I had a lot of fun. They even had a parachute to toss a doll. I enjoyed playing with a lot of older kids. 

I also went to Sohan's birthday.  There was a moon bounce and I had fun on the boundaries. 

New Jersey trip for a wedding and Ear piercing

Chelle and I got our ears pierced on Thursday. I was very excited to get them until the lady pierced my first ear that hurt. I cried for a few minutes and did not really want the second one done. But, nana and mummy held me down and forced it. I like it now though. I have gold kammal. 

It was fun watching chelle get them and cry. As soon admins was done,I was soo looking forward to see her get it. :)

We went to a wedding in New Jersey. We really went to see cool Nani and Sparky. We went Friday evening after dinner and this time Mom and Dad's plan to put us to sleep during the drive DID NOT work. We were awake for 2 hours and we had a fun stop at the Delaware rest area. Nana, chelle and I ran around , ate pizza and ice cream. 

In NJ, I played a lot with cool Nani and Sparky. Thatha put a chain on sparky and I walked him around. Ram Thatha, cool Thatha, Nani and I had fun. 

Abhi mama and Shilpa attha came and we all went to the reception. It was a boring party. Chelle and I were sleepy and bored, so we came back early. 

New things I say and do:

Nana/Mummy: Be a good girl, don't force me to eat.

Chelle, be a good girl leka pothe cop odthadu. Buchodu osthadu, chellemma.  

Nana, koncham light on cheyyi. 

Chelle, Thoothi pie. 

Choplate milk. 

I kiss Nanaand say, I love you Nana. 

When Nana says 'I love u Pari' I say 'I love you mummy'. Hehehe

Chelle's first birthday party

We had fun at Chelle's first birthday party. We had a lady bring a lot of animals and there were so many kids. Cool Nani, Thatha, Ram Thatha, pinni, Attha, Amit mama, Abhi mama, shilpa Attha, V Thatha came home to stay with us. 

Our first REAL family vacation

Yay! We went to Puerto Rico for 4 days for our first family vacation. It was my first visit to the beach. I loved our hotel. It had a kiddie pool, hot tub , lounge area with air hockey.
