Nana gave me a cold

Nana had a cold and in 2 days, he gave it to me. I had the cold for 2 days and it went away.
Nana and I went to a community desi party at Shritha akkas house on saturday. We spent all day sunday at home since it was very hot outside. Nana and I went to the Airport park in the evening. I watched Teletubbies in the car and I am starting to enjoy them. I learnt to say 'aaaiy' and smack the floor when I fall down and hurt myself. I started doing 'Palti' all by myself, since Nana has been helping me do it for a while. I am still not good at it but I am practicing.
Nana and Mommy told me that chelle is coming to this world on July 24th. I cant wait to see her and play with her. We will be best buddies. I will share all my toys with her.

Nana went to NJ for another Diya's 21st day

This weekend was not very exciting. We did have a few guests, Ammamas friends and relatives come visit our house and stay overnight. But, Nana went to New Jersey to meet with the gang. They all went to long island, NY to visit another Diya. She is now about 2 months old. I missed being with Nana all of Sunday. That was not very exiciting. I did not let him go to his office on Monday. I hung onto him for a long long time. I did not want him to go anywhere again.
Today, I was walking past ammama and tripped on her feet. I fell on the kitchen floor and had my first bubu with blood. My lip started bleeding. Nana was not very happy about it. I even showed Nana which tile hit me. We both beat the tile.:-) I usually beat back anything that hurts me.

I almost forgot, I love keeping everything around me clean. I close doors behind Mommy. I clean up after spills. I think I got it from Nani and Nana.

We had another relaxed weekend. We stayed home, cleaned the house and washed the car. Ammamma came from LA to help Mummy with my Chellle. She is coming in a month. I am so excited. I rub mummy's belly all the time.
I learnt how to climb on to Nana's head. I saw a real helicopter today, flying over our house.

My preferences are changing

Mommy has been busy at work, lately. So, I am spending many evenings alone with Nana. Nana and I went to Costco yesterday and bought a huge Teddy. I love it. I saw it and really wanted it. Nana had no choice but to get it. :-)
I am starting to get whatever I want.This morning, Mommy wanted to feed me milk but I snatched the bottle from her, took it to Nana and gave it to him to feed me. I like hanging out with Nana, we play, we watch songs, we dance. We play with Mommy too. Nana and I go pull Mommy's hair. I rub mommy's belly since Chelle is in there.

Relaxed weekend at home

We bought a water crab to play outside in the summar sun. We played a lot with it on Friday. Satuday, Suman mama came over and we played with him. We went to a car showroom and went to the park in the evening. On sunday, we went to the Frying Pan farm park. We saw 3 little piggies, horses. I petted horses, goats and saw chicken. I seem to enjoy them a lot more now.

I learnt to say 'Hi' and I am getting really angry. :-)

Weekend at Celebrate Fairfax

We went to our county carnival on saturday. We went with our neighbors, Michelle and Michael, early in the morning and then again in the evening. We went in a bus and took my trike. I had so much fun. There were shows, kids crafts, a choo choo train, merry go round. I did not like the horsie merry go round a lot. I went with Nana.

And during the week, Mummy has been busy at work and coming home late. I have been having fun with Nana since he is coming home early. We played with the water hose one day, watched movies and songs. I went poopy and Nana had to take care of me for the first time(if you know what I mean). He did not want to see me stinking...I love my Nana.

Swimming pool visit and Herndon festival

We went to the YMCA swimming pool in my new lady bug swimsuit with shoes to match. We had Kumar uncle and Bindu aunty at my house. We all went to the Herndon festival. I rode my trike and went on a horse merry go round with Bindu aunty. It was fun. There were a lot of people there. So, many kids, dogs and balloons. I tasted some icee too.
My chelle is getting bigger and bigger inside Mummys tummy. Mummy is still making milk shakes and juices for me, and I even learnt to say 'Juice'. So, I can now point to me eyes, ears,nose, mouth, legs, hands and head. I can say my name...'Deeeyya'. I can say 'Poovvva' when I see a flower.

Oh, I almost forgot. Did I tell you that my favorite bedtime story is 'Three little piggies'. Nana made it up and it is based on the animal park we visit all the time. Its the same park I go to, with Mummy and Nana. I even took Nani and Thatha there...remember? Nana tells me the story every night before I go to bed. I then sleep and kick mummy for a while before going to sleep.
