My hair ceremony in Pittsburg

Thatha, Nani, Mommy, Daddy and I started driving early yesterday morning to Pittsburg. We went to the SV temple and Prerana Pinni came there too. She goes to college in Pittsburg. Nani was holding my hair and Thatha cut some of my hair 3 times during the hair ceremony.
Then we all ate and went to see Pinni's home in Pittsburg. We met Pinni's friends and roomates. We saw Nick, Gabby and Pinni's light box that she made. That was so amazing. The lights change colors too. From there we went to see CMU, Pinni's college. Pinni wants me to study too. Daddy told me that it is a very good school.
We then dropped Pinni off and went back to SV temple for Bhogi Pallu. Another ceremony, since yesterday was Bhogi, the day before Sankranthi. Did I tell you that we were all wearing new clothes?
I had fun playing with other kids, there were a lot of them. I even bullied one. After that we went to the Sai Baba temple. I played with the bell in both the temples. It was so much fun.
We finally started going back and came back late in the night. I did get a little irritated towards the end of the day. I just cannot spend so much time in the car in a single day. I was tired.

My first swimming lesson

We woke up early today and went to the YMCA for my first swimming lesson. Mommy packed my diaper bag and Thatha and Daddy took me to the class. It was so much fun. I hesitated in the beginning but after 5 minutes, started having fun in the water. We sang and played while Thatha took pictures. See...

Oh, I almost forgot...
Nani and Thatha have been giving me a bath since a long time but I never showed you how much fun I have with them. Here is a video. I also have a lot of fun when they feed me. Here it is.

On my 21st day!!

Mom told me that they did not celebrate my 21st day ....but look at the beautiful cradle that was decorated with beautiful pink and green flowers...and guess who did it ...yeah its Ammamma....Your right mom....she's a pro in everything she does....Shes dressed me up too on my 21st day with all the jewellery that she got for me...

My First bath at Home!!!

Mom told me that I was so tiny that they were very scared to bathe me...But as usual we have ammamma and she was the one who gave me the first massage and first bath tooo....Mom says she's a pro in everything she does...

Ammamma is my best night Buddy !!!

All night everynight almost for 5 months mom and ammamma fed me every 2 hours..Mom tells me that more than her ammamma used to wake up with an alarm and feed me...YOU are the best Ammamma!!!My dad used to sleep in other bedroom..Mom and ammamma slept with me.

First time Mommy takes control of the BLOG

Where do I start from?
This new year mommy decided that shes going to write something for me so I can read when I grow up.
May be I should start from when Mommy had babyshower for me.Daddy organized the babyshower for Chinna Nani, 2 weeks before I was born.Ammamma was already there at that time.Mommy says ammamma cooked for over 50 guests who came for the shower.So let me tell my little love a little more about ammamma....Mommy told me that ammamma had real bad Psoriasis when she came here to take care of me.You are such a sweetheart ammamma..
Also....Guess who was first in the world to see her apart from mom n dad.It was Ammamma!!!Yeah...Love you ammamma!!!

OOpss I forgot to add she also helped dad to put together all the stuff that mommmy shopped for me for a whole year...

Happy New Year 2012!!

eIt was my first New Years. We just stayed home, so I could relax with Mommy. We invited our neighbors over for lunch on Saturday and I played with Sritha Akka. Then we invited Ashritha Akka on yesterday. We played but we mostly fought because she was playing with my toys and I wanted to play with them. I shared some toys with her, since she is visiting from Wisconson and may not come back from there for a long time.

Nani, Thatha, Mummy,Daddy and I went to the temple on Jan 1st. Now that I know how to pray, I prayed to all the important Gods. I wore a new dress that Sandhya Ammama gave to me when I was in India.
