Good Morning! Daddy!!!

My Mommy is getting BIGGG. This morning when my Daddy said 'Good Morning Pari' I could not hold it any longer so I gave him a hi five. For the first time on Jan 9th, I responded to my Dad. He has been talking to me for so long and I have been trying to punch my Mommy on the right side for my Dad to feel it. And I have been missing my target forever, but today I finally bumped him. I am sure he is as excited as I am.

I am so glad that my first gifts came from my college going ants. The maroon colored dress is from my cool Pinni, Prerana Pinni and the pink one is from my favorite Attha, Siri attha.I hope to be as pretty, smart and cool as these 2 aunts of mine EXCEPT a little more prettier, a lot more smarter and a whole lot sweeter since my last name is Cheruku. My dad told me that means sugarcane and that is what sugar is made of. See, I am sounding smart already...

Pimp my CRADLE!!!!

My Daddy knows that I like my stuff custom made. So, he is working on my cradle here in the freezing January weather.He cant do it inside since my Mommy should not be smelling the paint. He is going to put West Coast Customs to shame...

My daddy got these from my Thatha's God Father. My Daddy wore these when he was little like me, and guess who will be wearing them in a couple of months......

Family jewels from Naani

These bracelets were gifted to my Daddy by my Daddy's Daddy's Daddy's Mommy. My Naani saved these bracelets for more than 30 years to pass it on to the next generation of Cherukus(ME ...hehee). Since I am the FIRST Cheruku of the generation, I get to wear these cuties. Thank You Naani for saving these for all these years.....I told you I will love my Naani a LOT and things like these help a little :) I cant say this enough...I love you Naani...I love you Naani...

My Naani is the BEST!!!

My Nani got to work, the day she found out I was coming. She went to Sudharshan(our family jeweler) and Vittal Das(another Jeweler) to start collecting BLING for me. I am sure Nani has a whole bunch of surprises in store for me but to start with she sent these custom made lehengas for me. Nani has been shopping for the latest styles in clothes, latest styles of stitching and she has visited the tailor 10 times for me already.Unlike the ready made dresses that Thatha bought for me, these dresses are all custom made(stitched for me :-) My Nani is dedicated, I am sure she will be my favorite grand parent and I will love my Nani more than my Daddy loves her. Muah Nani!!

My Thatha went to Lord Ayyappa and he bought these cute Kerala dresses for me. And he bought all sizes to fit me for a whole year.My thatha takes care of our family's auspicious/religious side. I love my Thatha.
