Today is Nana and Chelles BIRTHDAY!!

Today was Nana and Chelles birthday. Chelle and Nana came to my school to pick me up. We went to Chipotle for dinner, Nana and I cut the Elmo cake because Sona fell asleep.

Siddu's birthday and a visit to YMCA for swimming

Saturday, we went to Siddu's 5th birthday. It was so much fun. I found a few friends that wanted to play with me. We played and cut the cake.I had so much cream on the cake that I almost threw up.

Nana wanted to see how much swimming I have been learning, so Nana, Mommy, Chelle and I went to the YMCA on sunday. Chelle did not want to get into the pool, so Nana and I played for a while. I did not swim or anything but we played for sometime.We went to Dunkin Donuts before the YMCA.

Did I tell you that I can now tell if we are going towards my school or not based on the streets and the turns Nana makes when we get out of the house. I dont like LEFT. I like RIGHT.

School update

My typical conversations these days....

Day 1: Nana and I are coming back from school...
Nana asked: How was school beti. Em cheshinavu nuvvu school la.
Me: Edshina.
Nana: Why beti. emi ayindhi?
Me: Sabrina kottindhi.
Nana: Sabrina kodthe nuvvu em cheshinavu. Teacher ki cheppaledha? Nuvvu kotta ledha?
Me: No. Edshina.
Nana: Ninnu evaranna kodthe, nuvvu kooda vaallanu kottale beti. Sare na..
Me: Sare.


Next Day: Nana and I are coming back from school...
Nana: How was school beti.
Me: Sabrina edshindhi.
Nana: Enduku
Me: Nenu Sabrina ni kottina.
Nana: Why beti. Sabrina ninnu kottindha?
Me: No. Kottina.

After a few days, my teachers who always used to me amazed at how well I am coping with 3 year olds, suddenly complained to Nana. Miss.Laura said, Diya is pushing, shoving and pinching other kids. We have been telling her to stop but she isn't listening. So, Nana had to tell me to only retaliate but not initiate any fights. I am finally finding a happy medium. :-)

Oh, did I mention my swim lessons? I had almost 10 swim lessons at school. I wear my life vest and jump into the pool with my instructor teaching me. My first swim lesson report is due soon. Nana is going to take me to the YMCA pool as soon as I get my report.

And, guess what. I talk a LOT these days. I know that when we make a left after getting out of our community, we are headed to school. So, I always prefer we make a right. I check with Nana or Mommy every time we make a left.

I make a lot of stuff at school. I made a paper tie for Nana for fathers day. I cooked oreo cookies mixed with chocolate and gummy worms. That's my first official dish I ever cooked. Seee....

Dutch Wonderland again....Yay!!

We went to Navya akka's home again for the July 4th weekend. We all drove to Lancaster on Wednesday, after the party at our house. With Chinna Nani and Thatha. I had to pee pee urgently, so for the first time ever, on mommy's suggestion, we did it under a tree in a secluded area. There is a first time for everything. We then slept for most of the drive but not before I explained to Thatha and Nani about the trucks, birds, cows and a few other things.

We got there late in the night but we got to sleep in Navya's akkas room. It was so much fun. I played with all her toys.And the next day, Siddhu anna and Diya 2 came. Diya 2 did not want to play much with us and I played a little with Siddhu anna. In the evening, when the sun died down, we went to Dutch Wonderland, with Laddu Pedda Nana, Navya Akka, Siddhu anna, Chelle, Mummy and Nana.
I had so much fun like last time. Chelle had fun too, on her first visit.

After we got back, we hit the bed and we woke up to welcome Abhi Mama, Amit mama, Prerana Pinni, Siri Attha, cool Nani, Ram thatha, cool thatha and ammama. We had a lot of fun a took a lot of pictures.

That day, there was a puja. I was very well behaved and I sat with Navya akka and Siddhu anna at the puja. I even wore a kankanam on my wrist. I sang 'Om Jai Jagdish'. It was cool. I wore the dress Chinna Nani brought for me and wore a chudidaar that my Nani bought in India.

In the evening, I went to eat ice cream with Siri Attha, Prerana Pinni and Nana. We had so much fun driving in Atthas new Mercedes. In the night, Abhi Mama, Nana and I went shopping to the mall. We bought shoes for me and Nana.

We came back home Saturday night and relaxed with a bubble bath on Sunday. Chelle did not want to join me and Nana for a bubble bath. Strange!

Chinna Nani and thatha visit us along with a bunch of new friends

Chinna Nani and Thatha came to visit us after we visited them on Monday. We had gone to meet Tanush, Sahasra, Sahas and Sahiti. When they visited our house, they brought a lot of toys for Chelle and me.

I told Nani and Thatha a lot of stories and then we all drove to Lancaster for the party. I went pee pee outside cuz it was urgent.

I showed trucks, cows and goats to Thatha and Nani since they are visiting from India.

Once we got there, we got to sleep in Navya Akka's room. I had so much fun writing on her books, sitting on her desk, riding her little horse.
Nana and I wore a pink shirt and brown shorts that day. We matched!

Pooja weekend and Sajiv Shreeya

On Saturday, we had Steve and Mary Aunty come over. On Sunday, we were busy with pooja at our house. On sunday, Sajiv and Shreeya Akka came over. Along with Hem mama, Pam Attha and Nani. We had a lot of fun. Nana took us all to the DC zoo and we had a lot of fun.

I kept telling stories to the new Nani. I realized how much I missed my Nani. I have been asking Nani and Thatha to come back ever since.

They went back on Thursday Amani Nani and Thatha came the same day.
