Deck weekend and summer block party

Our deck is finally ready. We put up our kiddie pool and jumped into it. And before we knew it, chelle and I had a cold.
We went to Ikea and the Potomac mills mall for some patio furniture and clothes shopping. I had fun playing in the kids play area.

On Friday, we had our summer block party. I had fun with a lot kids. We threw water balloons.

Nana and I fixed the corner table that we bought from Ikea. I helped with the hammer, screws and everything.

When mommy asked 'Can I help you, Pari' I said 'I want to help Pari papa'

Yay!! Happy birthday, cool Nani

We went to New Jersey to visit cool Nani for her birthday. We drove Friday night and I was barely recovering from my fever and skin rash. We had so much fun. We even took a photo book for cool Nani.

Oh, did I tell u that I don't like school anymore. After missing school for 4 days, it is hard.
In NJ, Nana, Abhi Mama and Amit Mama and I went to Rutgers. Nana's college was really cool. We ate at Efes and went shopping for some Rutgers gear.

Nana went to the shooting range with Amit mama. They shot very well. Nana said he is practicing for me and chelle.

Nana, chelle,Mommy, Pinni, cool Nani and Thathas went to an ATA event in the evening on our way back to Virginia.

I made a green tie for Nana at school for Fathers day. Happy Fathers Day!!

Celebrate Fairfax

I got hurt at school on Friday. I fell and hurt my muthi. I has a bubu in my mouth and under my nose.
And I fell sick on Saturday. We still made it to Celebrate Fairfax. I went on rides ALL BY MYSELF!!! for the first time ever. I was on meds but having fun.

My first report card

I started going to swimming lessons at my school. Today was the second day. I'm not liking to have to change my clothes without Nana or Mommy or Nani around.

Once I get to the pool, I'm ok and I have a lot of fun.

Guess what. I got my first ever report card today from Ms.Beech. I seem to be doing pretty good. My teachers are impressed.

Ms.Beech is slowly starting to realize who Ms.Cheruku really is. D I V A!!! He he heee

Herndon festival weekend

This weekend, we went to the Herndon festival. We parked at Worldgate and took the bus. And you know I always wanted to ride the bus, so I was very excited.

We went on a huge giant wheel. I was scared initially but I started enjoying it. We even saw fireworks and ate ice cream.

On Sunday, we went to Ikea. We spent 6 long hours but I had fun.

Long memorial day weekend

It was a really really long weekend without Nani and Thatha around. I cannot practice all of my new tricks I learn at school on Nani anymore.

Friday night, we went to Chuck-e-cheese. I had fun. Chelle seemed to like her first visit too.
So, we had Reshaun and his sister come over on Saturday. He is mean and very assertive. He was threatening me to behave and I cried every time. But Nana taught me to be strong. So I starting being firm and I stopped crying and started fighting back.
Yay!

On Sunday, we went to Baltimore. Inner harbor. We went to the India festival , ate grilled cheese sandwiches and had fun.

Nana and I went on the dragon boat. I had so much fun. Chelle and I were very tired by the end of the day.

I started liking milk shakes. I like the cookies and cream milkshake at chick-fil-a. We had that and bun. Went home and slept.

On Monday morning, we went to the Clemijontri park. We had so much fun on the swing and horses. I sat on a zebra in the carousel.

Nani and Thatha go to India

Nani and Thatha left for India. Chelle and I were very sad. Everybody was crying I kept looking for them for like 10 days. I'm still calling Thatha to make sure he puts Mandhu for Nani.
