My 2nd birthday party

After weeks of intense preparation, exhaustive work by Thatha, mommy, Nani and Nana, we finally had the basement ready for the party. Bindu Aunty came and helped a lot too. Pinni, Bindu Aunty and Nana blew about 100 balloons. They all made a pretty room.
More than 50 people came to the party and guess what. Mickey Mouse came to the party! I was so excited.
Cool Nani, cool Thatha, V Thatha , Amit Mama , Rana uncle, Kani uncle and deepika Aunty came.

I am 2!!!!!

Oh, where do I start! Friday evening, on the day of my birthday, Pinni came. We cut a very cute cake.
We went to Rajdhani temple. I ran around and rang the bell.
Pinni made a huge painting of me and chelle for Nana and Mommy. It is so pretty!

Weekend Trip to NJ

We went to New Jersey to attend Aarush's 1st birthday party. We ended up attending an Anna prassana party too.
I had a lot of fun with cool Nani at their home. Sparky entertained me. He actually started running away from me by the second day since I was pulling his tail.
We went to Abhi Mamas place too. And another kids place. His mom is mommy's friend.
We have been shopping for my birthday dress. See my tryouts.

Did I mention that I can go on escalators all by myself since like 5 months ago?

My birthday preparations

Mommy, Nana, Thatha and Nani are all working on my 2nd birthday preparations. The theme is all white. My Mommy came up with the idea. And Nana wanted me to wear Red to stand out since I am special.

You will see the pics. I am sure it will be a great party at our house.

I am learning so many words and songs and alphabets and numbers.

I learnt to say 'Excuse me' after a burp. I say goodnight(dhood nigh), Sritha(sittha) Akka, Srikanth(sithanth) uncle, Bindu aunty, Aithe thatha, cool nani, aunty, thatha, nani, nana, daddy, mummy, shilpi, chelle, sona, maam thinu, appa, ammama, nani mandhu, koocho, manam podham(when I see a bus or truck),fire truck(fire tuck), bubu aindhi, laptop(lapop), bison, ethuko(enko), chelle oonchindhi, buchodu, cop, koncham(thontham).

I add a 'anta' after everything like 'Pari bush anta'.I eat food from Mommy in the shape of balls and they ech have to have a name.I try and sit in chelle's walker and all of chelle's toys. I help feed chelle her food. I make all sorts of sounds and help Nani and Thatha feed chelle.When the phone rings, I pick it up and say 'Hello Abhi Mama'.

I had a sudden high fever one day, so we went to the doctor. It was just some virus.I weighed all of 26.3 pounds. Do I look fat? Nana says ' No way!'. I am more on the skinny side already.

We went to Arjun's birthday this weekend. It was fun and I looked pretty in the salwaar. see...

My BIG accomplishment this week is I stopped sucking on my thumb. Nana told me that I will look like a monkey if I do it and if I dont I will become a princess. Momy told me that I will get a big bubu and we have to go the doctor if I suck on it. Its been very hard. My hand almost goes to my mouth but I remember and stop. Nana, Mommy, Nani and Thatha are all proud of me for being so obidient and smart.

Nana recently sent out the invites to my second birthday party. I am so excited. I learnt the happy birthday song and we recorded it and put it in the invite. It was so cool.
I put mandu in Nani's eyes every night before I go to bed. I say goodnight and give a goodnight kiss to everyone at home.

Guess what, Nana's team, the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl!!
