My first flight

Ok, it is actually my second but the first one was for India when I was very little, so I barely remember seeing an airport and a plane. So, I am considering this my first flight. It was to visit Sajiv and Shreeya akka for Sajivs birthday in Des Moines, Iowa. Nani, Thatha, Mommy, Daddy and I drove to DC Reagan National Airport(Daddy is starting to get allergies, so he was a little sick).
We flew from there. We parked in a lot and took a bus. It was a fun bus ride followed by some food at TGIF in the airport.We then went thru the security line forever. I kept running around and Daddy kept bringing me back.All the planes looked really big and I kept running around.
I fell asleep as soon as we took off.I woke up when we were about to land. My ears started popping and I couldn't take the pain anymore, so I had to wake up and complain to Dad and Mom. I complained for about 5 minutes and it went away. We landed soon after.

The next morning, thatha and Daddy wenrt to Pioneer. Nani and Daddy helped Hem mama and Pam atha with decorations, while Mommy and Thatha took care of me.
The party was on Saturday. It was great. We danced and partied.I even tried to fool around with the boombox to see if I can play the song myself. I thought they stopped playing the music way too early.

We came back sunday morning and took the plane and bus again. The landing was much better this time since Mommy and Daddy were prepared with water, milk and other things.

And, then we went to Dushyant uncles house for a Barbeque party in the evening. I met Moksha and another dude.

Nani and Thatha are baaack!!

Nani and Thatha came back from NJ on friday. I was so glad to see Nani. I jumped into her arms as soon as I saw her. Everyone was thinking I forgot Nani...NO WAY! We went to the Reston Town Center on Saturday and we had Pushpa Nani and Thatha come over on Sunday. They are our neighbors. At the Town Center I practised going up and down a slope( a small one of course, at a store called Anthropology) Nani and Thatha bought a lot of gifts for me from NJ. Chinna Nani sent one toy and Ram Thatha sent another one. I got a Lawn Mower that makes bubbles, a shopping cart and an animal learning thing. I had fun all saturday playing with them. I went to the park with Daddy and Thatha and played for sometime. Oh, I almost forgot. Daddy spent half of saturday steam cleaning my toys while Mommy made strawberry shakes for us. Mommy is into cooking new things for me now. She even bought a cook book. Walking a slope at Anthropology

Cherry blossom season and Ugadi

I love getting my pictures taken during the cherry blossom season. I wish Nani and Thatha were here in VA, instead of in NJ. We could have taken a cute family picture.

Ugadi was 2 fridays ago. We invited some of our neighbors for a block party at our home for Ugadi. We ate and drank and all the usual boring stuff. I played with Shritha akka.

My first Easter Egg hunt

We had an Easter egg hunt this weekend at our play area. Many kids came. I found 6 eggs. 2 pink, 1 yellow and 3 blue ones. There were a bunch of kids, all older than me, so mummy helped me pick the eggs, while Daddy took pictures. It was a fun day.
