My first Diwali

We spent Diwali at home. We played with some fire works with our neighbors. I played with 2 akkas. We had so much fun. I gave aarthi to Daddy and Thatha and got a lot of money.

I learnt how to climb stairs on Diwali day. Now I can climb any stairs in seconds.

I'm 8 months old

I'm 8 months old. I recognize Mommy, Daddy, Nani and Thatha now. I started eating biscuits, I ate Idli for my birthday. It was so yummy. I eat bananas and cookies too.

Chinna Nani and thatha came

Nani Aunty and Thatha came this weekend. I have been trying a bunch of new things that I havent told you.

1. I started practising to sit down. I stand up and slowly sit down and the standup and then sit down very slowly. I am being soo careful.
2. I started making sounds with my mouth.
3. I am crawling around and trying to escape from Nani and Thatha.

Mommy brought a lot of stuff from India so we are sorting everything out.

Pooja weekend and Daddy's first home project

This was ONE busy long weekend.We had our house warming pooja early saturday morning. Daddy,Mommy,Nani and Thatha woke up at 4am and started the pooja. I was woken up at 6 am by the fire alarm. Man! Those things are loud and they keep going. I enjoyed the rest of the pooja. Ayyagaru came home to do the pooja.
And then Daddy and Thatha went to Lowe's to bring paint to paint the garage. They worked all 3 days on it. It looks pretty now. Good job Daddy and Thatha.

Sunday, we went to the Shiva Vishnu temple in Maryland.And from there we went to Ikea. I ate Laddu prasadam for the first time. It was yummy. I liked it.

I like standing up now. I hold a chair or a window and standup. Nani is my best friend now.She plays with me all day!

Dasara and bathukamma

Today is my first Dasara. We played bathukamma yesterday.Mommy made this cool bathukamma and put paspu on my feet. My feet become all yellow.

Oh I almost forgot, I got my first cold from Daddy last week, right before we moved to the new house.I finally am done with him. I had stuffy nose and it was soo hard to breathe.
