Feeling sick for the first time

After the shots I have been feeling a little sick. I have been getting drops for pain. I explained my pain to Mommy.

my 2 month doctor visit

I had to go to the doctor today for my 2 month visit. I hate that nurse who gave me not one but 2 shots. One on each thigh. My legs still hurt. Daddy and Mommy have been giving me some drops to kill the pain. I hate that nurse. I even complained to Daddy. See this video of me telling daddy about the bad nurse

one more visit to the temple

Mommy says there is a new Sai Baba temple, so we went to see it. I am wore the white dress that thatha bought for me from Kerala, India.

My 2 month birthday

Bhoomi pooja for our new house

We had a bhoomi pooja done for our new house today. I got dressed in another Nani dress and everyone was wearing traditional dresses.It was a nice sunny day and we had fun.

I finally made the palti

I finally flipped from my back to chest on April 20th. What an exciting day. Mommy, Daddy and Ammamma were all there that night. And Mommy was the first one to see me make the palti and she ran screaming to Daddy and Ammamma. Silly mummy....

I smiled at Daddy today

I smiled with my eyes open for Daddy today. I also smiled at Ammamma after a diaper change this morning and then for Mommy.I have already been trying to hold my neck up and I attempted to turn over yesterday and today in my cradle.
How do I look in this net dress that Nani sent for me. I am hearing that Nani is recovering well from her surgery.Good job Nani.

Nani had surgery

Nani had eye surgery yesterday. I prayed to jeje for Nani to get well soon and come see me. Daddy said thatha is taking good care of Nani.

Navya akka came

Navya akka, Bablu pedda nana and Madhuri peddamma came to visit me yesterday. They brought some pretty dresses too.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Lake Fairfax park today. My first park visit. Mommy drove our new van for the first time. Here are some pictures.

I was so excited to sleep with Daddy and Mommy that I decided to reward my Dad with a smile.Check it out. The smile is really for Thatha and Nani, I miss you thatha and Nani.
The weather is getting better now. It is 60 degrees now. We need to get out. I am ready with my caprice on. Daddy...take me out somewhere..

I almost SMILED!!

I have been smiling in my sleep for a few days now but today I smiled with my eyes open for the first time and I did it for.........guess who.......Daddy of course.

Daddy and Mommy bought some more clothes for me.They cant seem to stop buying stuff for me. Mommy bought a projection toy for me to play. Now that I am starting to identify bright color and follow them with my eyes. I also respond to sounds now.

Ugadi 2011

Today was my first Ugadi. Its the New Year day in telugu. All of us went to the temple and got the car pooja done for our new car. Check out the pictures....nice ride aint it? I wore my Daddy's favorite dress that Nani sent for me.

Daddy and I woke up at 5:30am on Saturday April 2nd to watch the world cup final between India and Srilanka.
India WON!! Daddy was sooo excited. Daddy told me about how daddy and pedda nana used to wake up in the middle of the night to watch cricket when they were kids.Daddy said he has been waiting for so many years for this moment. He thinks I am his lucky charm that made it happen. So does thatha. Thatha does not watch many games but daddy asked him to watch this one since he knew india would win.
My thatha gets very tense you know... Watching these games.

Oh. This was a big week for me. I upgraded from 'new born' diapys to number Ones. And I started growing out of some of my clothes.
I scratched myself which prompted mommy and daddy to file my nails again. I grew out of my in bed sleeper. I weigh 8lbs 6ozs. And I think I'm almost 22 inches. I slapped mommy and hit daddy on his forehead.
They say I'm turning into a very naughty monkey. Heheheee

And last night I slept thru the night for the first time. April 2nd.
