I am 5 years old. Yay!

I can't believe I'm 5 years old already. I invited Ariel - the mermaid to my birthday party. So many of my friends came. Ariel read a story for us and we played and talked with her. Chelle and I dressed like mermaids. 

All my school friends were there too. Now that I'm 5 , I'm starting to like Kumon, I enjoy my homework a lot, I like reading more than math. I can add 1's and 2's and small numbers. I can read small books too. Nana and I went online and ordered a box of little books and I finished reading them in 2 days. Now, sometimes I read the bedtime story for Nana and chelle. 

My first India wedding trip

Wow! It was so much fun. A wedding has soo many parties, a free pass for make up and so much more. And everyone was there, Amit mama, cool Nani, Navya akka, swara and Sloka.... 

We first went to Nani Thathas mango and orange farm. We caught a grass hopper there and tied a rope to it and ran around holding the thread. It was so much fun. 

We stayed in a little hut and ran around the fields. We went to Yadagiri gutta to a temple and we saw a whole lot of monkeys there. We even fed the monkeys. 

And for the Sangeet party, we practiced for many days but I knew nice nice nicely is an awesome teacher and I already had practiced and danced before. 

My first dance performance

I had my first on stage dance performance last week. It was great to do it with my best friend Anika. And Namrata. We practiced for 3 weeks and about 15 boys and girls came to our basement for practicing. 

During the performance, I looked at my friends a few times but other than that, I did great. I even had make up on. Sona did too. 

For Diwali, we had so many parties and we had Annika and Vihaan come over for thanksgiving. 

Oh, we went to Disney on ice and that was fun. I told daddy that we sat very high up and it made me dizzy. I asked him to get lower seats next time. 

Dhruva visited us from Richmond. He is so small and cute. 

We emptied our piggy banks and Nana took us to the coin machine in the bank. And guess how much money I got, $88. 

Yay!! I'm going to buy something in India during my visit. 

I'm drawing and coloring very well now. I can draw rainbows, hearts, houses , mountains , sun and water.  

We read a story at bed time with Nana and if he is not there mummy. I also tell Nana what I did at school that day before going to sleep. 

Oh, I almost forgot, I dressed up as Elsa and Nana Spider-Man and chelle Ana. It was a great Halloween. We got some much candy from trick or treating. 

Summer of 2015

It was a fun summer that came to an end too soon. We had just enough time to hit the Atlantic City beach, go to Dallas, New Jersey, Dutch Wonderland. 

And the biggest surprise of all, Nani and Thatha came to stay with us for 2 months. We had so much fun. We played with Nani, drew, painted, played....

We played a lot with Kritika. She gave me good company in Dallas. 

We saw little baby Annika for the first time. She is Vihaan's sister. 

We watched my first ever movie in a theater. It was ' Shaun the sheep'. It fir not have any words because sheep don't talk. 

On the same day, I saw my first drive in theater. It was 'Frozen'.  We celebrated Nani's 63rd birthday.
